KP Govt: releases of ADP funds for Home Sector

Peshawar: The provincial government in the Home and Tribal Affairs Department has released Rs. 1690.190 million out of the total allocation of Rs. 2866.064 million for expenditure on Annual Development Program ADP schemes, during the current financial year 201314 subject to observance of all codal formalities as required under the rules.

These developmental schemes are known as “Strengthening Rule of Law in Malakand Division; construction of one high security prison in the province; planning designing and Construction of Central Prison Peshawar, construction of Central Jail DIKhan on existing site; construction of District Jail Hangu Phase-I fifty fifty cost sharing basis with FATA, construction

of Central Prison Mardan; construction of Hostel for Trainees at Central Prison Haripur; construction of High Security Zones in seven Jails of the province; Improvement of Existing Jails, Construction / Improvement of Judicial Lockups Bakhshi Khanas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; Solar Energization of various Jails – one Jail on Pilot basis; provision of Water Filtration Plants in the Jails; Enhancing Security of Jails; execution of Additional Works at Central Prison Haripur and Sub Jail Karak; strengthening of Prosecution directorate and Provincial Crisis Management Centre PCMC in Home Department; Impact Assembly /Validation of de Radicalized Emancipation Program; construction of Central Police Office in Peshawar; Special Development Support for Police; Coordination Unit for Implementation of Law and Order Initiatives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; Special Dev.

Support for Police Phase-II; Secure armouries across provinces and Mini Police Line Hangu PM’s Package, 2nd and 3rd Trench; construction of Joint Police Training Centre at Nowshera; Special Dev.

Support for Police Tor Ghar District Rs. 400,000 M Phase-III; and establishment of offices of Special Branch Police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
