Mosul, Iraq (IINA) – Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) distributed 45 tons of food supplies on Tuesday to displaced Iraqis in Mosul, KUNA reported.

KRCS coordinator Mohammad Al-Enizi said that delivering food supplies would continue in the region to enable displaced Iraqis to overcome their dire situation.

He affirmed that the KRCS was keen on helping the displaced Iraqis who have fled military operations carried out by the Iraqi forces and allies against ISIS in Mosul since late 2016.

The KRCS began a weeklong aid campaign recently targeting around 40,000 displaced people in Mosul.
