Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore has awarded death penalty to two accused persons in motorway gang-rape case.

The anti-terrorism court, which had earlier reserved the verdict, announced it today (Saturday).

The trial took place in Lahore’s Camp Jail, and Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Arshad Hussain Bhutta heard the proceedings.

The tragic incident took place in September last year when Abid Malhi and Shafqat Ali had molested a woman in presence of her children after her car ran out of fuel on the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway.
