Mass Communication exams postponed at FUUAST

KARACHI: Mass Communication Department of Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (Fuuast)- Maulvi Abdul Haq campus on Friday postponed the paper scheduled on November 30 after unidentified students vandalized the department and misbehaved with the teachers.

Head of Mass Communication Department, Dr Tausif Ahmed, told PPI that some students belonging to student action committee tried to help their fellow students in cheating and on resistance from teachers, broke windowpanes and furniture of the department.

“Although the hooligans tried to enter the department but failed due to an iron grill. The students appearing in the exam were forced to leave their papers for sometime due to the panic but later were able to complete their exam.”

Dr Tausif Ahmed demanded of the registrar of the university to take notice of the incident and arrange foolproof security during examinations.

President of Teachers Union Dr Ismail Moosa and General Secretary Najmul Aarfain also demanded proper security arrangements during examinations.
