Meeting of District Price Review Committee

District Value Committee meeting presided over by Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad, making a process for providing better facilities to the citizens in Ramadan.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Mr. Amir Aafir, Assistant Commissioner Abbottabad, District Food Controller, to ensure that supply of unauthorized profits and storage of raw materials and discounted rates of food items to the people of Ramadan. General Secretary Press Club and All-Traders Federation representatives attended. The meeting was decided that the cheapest market will be held in the month of Ramadan and the prices of food items will be reduced from 03 to 12 per cent. Apart from this, the weight of bread will also increase 10 grams. Deputy Commissioner thanked traders leaders, while committing food shortage prices in the prices of non-governmental commerce and committing strict measures against the injured victims. In addition, the instructions issued to Assistant Commissioner, Additional Assistant Commissioner and Food Inspectors will be present at the time of bid in the vegetable and fermented market in the morning. The rates will be finalized in their presence. He has made it clear that the officers of the administration will remain themselves in markets and keep the prices of goods maintained till the time of Aftabari.
