MET OFFICE PREDICTS TORRENTIAL RAINS IN GILGIT-BALTISTAN

Metrological department has predicted torrential rains in the next forty eight hours in Gilgit Baltistan.

In a press release, Chairman District Disaster Management Authority Gilgit, Hamza Salik asked people to avoid travel in landslides and floods prone areas in Gilgit to avoid any losses.

The Chairman appealed people of vulnerable areas in Gasupoot, Gowach, Bargo, Bagrote and Haramosh valleys to shift to safer places as a precautionary measure.
