Karachi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s newly elected Members of National Assembly MNAs on Wednesday flayed prolonged load shedding in the country, including Karachi, and sending of inflated bills to the citizens amid hot weather.

In a statement, MQM leaders demanded of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister retired Justice Mir Hazar Khan Khoso to take strict action against load shedding by KESC.

They said that unannounced load shedding had been badly affecting industries, business life, patients and students across the city, therefore, it must be brought to an end.

They were of the view that citizens were already in trouble and now inflated bills had enhanced their miseries.
