MUHAMMAD KARIM MEETS VICE CHIEF OF THE AIR STAFF

ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Karim along with the coach and manager of Pakistan Ski Team met Air Marshal Athar Hussain Bukhari, Vice Chief of the Air Staff Pakistan Air Force in his office on Monday.

Air Marshal Athar Hussain Bukhari, who is also President Ski Federation of Pakistan, congratulated Muhammad Karim on his performance in recently concluded Winter Olympics – 2014 at Sochi, Russia.

President SFP also hoped that his superb performance would significantly boost the SFP’s ventures in National and International ski events.

Karim, who hails from Naltar, Gilgit-Baltistan was the only Pakistani player who participated in giant Slalom event.

It is a matter of pride and joy for the nation as he finished on 70th position out of 109 athletes in this category of alpine skiing.

It is worth mentioning that Muhammad Abbass from Pakistan got 79th position in the Winter Olympics 2010 at Vancouver, Canada.
