N-Govt. wants to make Pakistan economically strong power: Kh. Muhammad Asif

SIALKOT: Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that the government is ensuring to supply of the gas to domestic consumers during this winter season. He said that the PML-N government is striving to cope with the persisting energy crisis for giving maximum relief to the people. He said that the USAID and World Bank are also helping Pakistan government to curb the menace of persisting energy crisis.

He stated this while talking to the party workers and local elected representatives at his residence here Sunday. MNA Sahibzada Syed Iftikhar ul Hassan Shah, MPAs Ch. Muhammad Ikram, Arshad Javaid Warraich and President PML-N Sialkot District Idrees Ahmed Bajwa were present on this occasion.

Federal Minister said that the PML-N government was promoting a revolutionary policy of Trade not Aid with the other countries. He said that this policy would be helpful in making Pakistan a self-reliant and stable economically depending upon the available national resources, creating the maximum job opportunities for the common.

Federal Minister added that early establishment of durable peace, weeding out of terrorism and militancy was the top priority of the present government.

He said that the PML-N was striving to strengthen the durable and real democracy, true democratic norms and values in Pakistan.

He said that now the PML-N was the guardian of democracy in the country and was striving for the rights of the masses. It would never allow anyone to derail the democracy in the country. He said the PML-N would eliminate the anti-democracy conspiracies of the undemocratic elements.

He said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was striving to make Pakistan a strong economical power.
