NA: Current NA Session to continue till November 12

Islamabad: House Business Advisory Committee of the National Assembly met in Parliament House on Monday with Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker National Assembly in the chair to discuss the business for the 6th Session of the National Assembly.

The meeting discussed the agenda and ways to run the proceedings of the 6th session of the National Assembly. The Representatives of all the parliamentary parties gave their proposals regarding business in the House.

It was decided that the current NA Session will continue till November 12, 2013. The meeting was also decided that the sittings of the National Assembly will be held in morning except Monday.

After thorough discussion, it was decided that the Rules will be suspended and the discussion will be held on the situation arisen due to recent drone attack in North Waziristan in order to facilitate maximum number of MNAs to participate in the debate.

Muhammad Barjees Tahir, Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs/Chief Whip of the Pakistan Muslim League (N), Jam Kamal Khan, Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Resources, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, Leader of the Opposition, MNAs; Ms. Shaista Pervez, Mr. Shahab-ud-Din Khan, Syed Naveed Qamar, Dr. Arif Alvi, Mr. Iqbal Muhammad Ali Khan, Maulana Muhammad Khan Sherani, Syed Ghazi Gulab Jamal, Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Hussain Qureshi, Raja Aamer Zaman, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary, Chaudhary Muhammad Ashraf, Mr. Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani, Sheikh Salahuddin, Syed Kazim Ali Shah, Sahibzada Tariq Ullah, Ch.Tariq Bashir Cheema, Dr. Muhammad Farooq Sattar, Mr. Abdul Qahar Khan Wadan and Abdul Rashid Godil.
