KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Central Leader Dr Arif Alvi has said that democracy could not prevail when people have to struggle for their rights.

He claimed, “People showed up with a historic turnout just to support the change. The genuine mandate of citizens had been taken over but we will make the democratic right available for them.” He said that the motive of coming to politics should be serving the nation. While addressing the crowd, at protest, he denounced the rigged results. He said, “Those who are threatening our supporters and leaders should keep fear of God in mind.

The nation desires liberation from the politics of power and they have decided on PTI for the same.” He explained that only fairness of elections could guarantee a peaceful environment in Karachi.
