OIC condemns suicide attacks in Afghanistan

Jeddah (OIC-UNA) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned Tuesday’s suicide attacks in the eastern Afghan city of Gardes that killed at least 33 persons including women, children, and police, and injured 160 others.

The OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen offered his deepest condolences to the families of the victims, government, and people of Afghanistan and wished a quick recovery to the injured people.

The secretary general further reiterated the OIC solidarity with Afghanistan in its fight against terrorism and violent extremism.
