The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will hold an Open-ended Extraordinary Meeting of the Executive Committee at the level of Foreign Ministers, at the OIC headquarters in Jeddah next Wednesday.

The meeting will discuss Israeli violations in the city of Jerusalem, including the recent opening by Israel, the occupying power, of the so-called “Pilgrims Road” under the town of Silwan, south of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Israel’s violations also include the confiscation of dozens of Palestinian lands in Jerusalem and threats to demolish tens of Palestinian-owned houses as part of the Judaization policy of the Holy City as well as displacing its inhabitants and changing its Arab identity.
