Opening ceremony of 28th National Challenge Football Cup underway in Peshawar

Opening ceremony of 28th National Challenge Football Cup is underway at Tehmas Khan Football Stadium, Peshawar.

Pakistan Air Force will face Asia Ghee Mills in the opening match tonight.

A total of 15 teams are participating in the competition with four groups.

Group A consist of Pakistan Air Force, NBP, Police & Asian Sugar Mill. Group B includes SSGC, Pakistan Navy & PTV. Group C have the teams of Pakistan Army, PCAA, Railway & PFF Tiger. While Group D having KRL, Wapda, KPT & Karachi United.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Football Federation announced the names of 20 members of National Junior Team of PPF Tiger for the Cup on Friday. PFF Tigers will play against Pakistan Army on Monday.

PCAA will face PFF Tiger on 25th of this month and Railway will play with PFF Tiger on 28th of this month.

The tournament would continue till 4th of August.
