Pakistan termed thriving market for ICT

Karachi: Pakistan with its growing corporate sector is a thriving market for information and communication technology ICT with a broad scope for new products based on innovative solutions, said speakers at ceremony of signing of accord between Huawei and EZY Info tech at a local hotel on Wednesday.

Colin Hu, managing director of Huawei Enterprise in Pakistan said Huawei’s channel partner program plays a vital role in their overall business strategy. “The partnership with EZY represents our commitment in providing world class ICT solutions to our valued customers in Pakistan.” He said the local knowledge and customer centric approach of EZY will help them tailor and deliver technology to this rapidly evolving market through its large channel partner base in Pakistan.

Saeed Sheikh, CEO EZY said as Pakistan’s infrastructure continues to develop, so does the market’s need for ICT solutions that enable business growth. He said with their skilled engineers and Huawei’s highly customizable technologies hey would be in even stronger position to help their customers overcome complex business challenges through innovative solutions.

Nadeem Aslam Malik, director Enterprise Business Group said the year 2012 saw Huawei Enterprise invest heavily in the development of its channel partner program which has now an integral part of the company’s growth strategy in the Middle East and Asia. In the enterprise market, Huawei offers an extensive ICT product and solution portfolio that spans from security, enterprise network infrastructure, enterprise communication, data centers and industry applications. He said the company today has nearly 4000 employees working in 14 offices covering nine countries across the Middle East.

On the occasion, Colin Hu and Saeed Sheikh signed a distribution partnership agreement, aiming at to increase the integration and optimization of ICT infrastructures in key sectors including government, healthcare, industry and finance through their channel partner network.
