PDMA dismisses four employees on corruption charges

Peshawar: Provincial Disaster Management Authority PDMA has dismissed four of its camp employees on allegations of corruption in relief items received from an international donor agency.

According to PDMA the employees, who included camp coordinator, sub camp in charge, store keeper and security guard were found involve in embezzlement of relief items.

PDMA has conducted an inquiry against these employees and after the probe the employees were found guilty for corruption therefore according to strict policy of the provincial government to eliminate corruption, these employees had been removed of their jobs immediately.

Director General PDMA Atif ur Rahman has also orders recovery of embezzled amount and order to proceed legal action against them.

DG vowed that PDMA will leave no stone unturned to serve the Internally Displaced Persons.
