PERVEZ KHATTAK cuts X-Mas cake with Minority MPA

Peshawar: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak on order to practically participate in Christmas celebrations and express solidarity with Christian community knifed X’mas cake in applauses of Minority MPA Fredrick Azeem Ghauri and others at a simple but impressive ceremony in Peshawar. He on this occasion extended his heartiest felicitations to the Christian community on birthday of Prophet Jesus (PBUH). Muhammad Ishfaq Khan, Principal Secretary to CM, and additional secretary Israr Khan were also present on this occasion. Pervez Khattak said that Jesus was equally a great prophet of Allah Almighty both for Christians and Muslims.

Hence he said we also equally share the joys of birthday celebrations of this great prophet. MPA Azeem Ghauri told that the Christian community of Peshawar has decided to celebrate this X’mas with simplicity due to the tragic incident of suicide attack on All Saints Church at Kohati Gate some three months back. Chief Minster said all the people and provincial govt were also gloomy on this incident that affected so many Christian families of Peshawar and hence express full solidarity with them. He also eulogized services of Christians in various walks of life especially in health and education sectors adding that we Pakistanis were rightly proud of the loyalty and contributions of our Christian community.
