Karachi: A petition seeking restraining order against issuing notification of polls results of constituencies where rigging was reported has been filed in the Sindh High Court.

The petitioner Sohail Hameed submitted in his petition that Election Commission of Pakistan ECP has failed to hold fair and free elections. He said that national assembly would not represent the actual mandate of the people as candidates have been elected through rigging.

Therefore, he prayed to court to restrain the ECP from issuing notification of polls of constituencies.
