PMA concerns on kidnapping of doctor

Karachi: Pakistan Medical Association PMA here Wednesday expressed deep concern on kidnapping of doctor from Tando Bago town of Sindh province.

Dr. Azhar Khan Jadoon, President PMA Centre, Dr.Mirza Ali Azhar, Secretary General PMA Centre, Dr.S.M. Qaisar Sajjad, Treasurer PMA Centre, Dr. Saeed Memon, President PMA Sind, Dr. Pir Manzoor, General Secretary PMA Sind, Dr. Idrees Adhi, President PMA Karachi and Dr. Qazi Wasiq, General Secretary PMA Karachi in joint statement said the kidnapping of Dr. Mohan Lal Lohana from Tando Bago is yet another example of insecurity faced by medical professionals in Pakistan, especially Sindh.

They said the kidnapping for ransom of doctors has become an order of the day but the provincial government seems to be totally helpless in this regard.

They demanded from the caretaker government of Sindh to take quick action against the culprits and ensure safe and early recovery of Dr. Mohan.
