PMLF leaders begin election campaign from Karachi

Karachi: Kamran Tessori, Pakistan Muslim League Functional PMLF candidate contesting from NA250 and Sardar Rahim candidate for PS 113 and 114 launched their election campaign from Karachi coastal area here on Sunday.

Tessori addressing a press conference said campaign has been launched form Karachi Islands as people of this area are being made shelter less and PMLF started a campaign to apprise these poor people that PML was with them and will never see them shelterless. The foreign companies will not be allowed here to usurp the rights of the poor people, he said.

Tessori said that his party if came to power will first bring the unified local government system in Sindh. He said under the dynamic leadership of Pir Pagara we will try to provide people justice at their doorsteps. He said people of Sindh have been deprived of their rights by the previous corrupt rulers and PMLF will eliminate corruption.

He further said that problems of the NA250 are in many. He said the basic problem is the acute water shortage and his party would resolve all such grievances to provide basic civic facilities to the people.

He said a proper legislation would be done to provide respect and justice to womenfolk and will never allow anyone to humiliate them in assemblies.

He said PMLF is fully alive to the problems of the people of Sindh and will not allow anyone to do injustice with the people, depriving people of their rights.

He expressed his no confidence over the caretaker government and hoped the Election Commission of Pakistan would hold elections in time. He said present caretaker Sindh government has failed to maintain law and order and target killings that are still continued in Karachi. He said the flight of capital is taking place due to worsening law and order in Karachi. He demanded that traders should be provided protection. He said the mission of PMLF is to eliminate corruption.

Sardar Rahim contesting polls from PS 113 and 114 also spoke.
