Police hospital to get trauma centre, blood bank

Karachi: Sindh police hospital Karachi would get facilities of trauma centre, emergency centre and blood bank to provide better facilities to police.

This was told to Inspector General Police Sindh Shahid Nadeem Baloch during his visit to Sindh police hospital at Garden headquarters Karachi. He was told that presently this 62-bed hospital has medical, gynaecological, paediatrics, vaccination, ophthalmology and surgical facilities to patients.

MS Dr Muhammad Yunus Chachar told that the attendance of OPD has increased from 150 to 350 per day, while daily admissions are 25 to 30. Presently 38 doctors and 121 paramedical staff are serving ib the hospital.

The hospital has CCTV camera system. Its own Sui gas connection and PMT have already been arranged.
