Politics Amin Faheem calls on PM

Islamabad: Makhdoom Amin Faheem, Minister for Commerce, called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf at the Prime Minister House on Friday and discussed matters pertaining to his ministry and the upcoming elections in the country.

The Prime Minister said that the completion of present democratic government’s tenure had proven all the critics and detractors of the government wrong. He said that the country was heading towards the general election, which was a milestone in Pakistan’s history.

He said it was the peoples’ right to choose their representatives through elections and whosoever wins should be allowed to govern the country.

Mr. Amin Faheem apprised the Prime Minister of the implementation status of various projects in his constituency.

The Minister also thanked the Prime Minister for initiating such development projects in his area which would benefit the local population.
