PPP sweeps all seven Badin dist seats

BADIN: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has won all five provincial and two national assemblies’ seats of Badin district with a big hit in general election 2013, setting the region as the strong fort of PPP and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.

The people of the region proved themselves as loyal to PPP and Mirza family who rendered lot of sacrifices for the party cause. It is the long struggle of Zulfikar Mirza who strengthened the party in Badin district.

Sardar Kamal Khan Chang clinched NA-224 seat and Fahmida Mirza won NA-225 seat. Bashir Ahmed Halepoto won PS-55 Matli seat, Mir Allah Bux took PS-56 seat, Hasnain Mirza, the son of former speaker National Assembly Fahmida Mirza and ex-provincial home minister Dr Zulfikar Mirza defeated former Sindh minister Syed Ali Bux Shah at PS-57 Tando Bago, Dr Sikandar Mandhro won PS-58 Badin seat and Mohammad Nawaz Chandio won PS-59 Golarchi
seat.
