KARACHI: Member of Pakistan Peoples’ Party PPP Minority Wing Dr Jaipal Chabriya has said PPP should focus on minorities’ problems and reform the laws related to the minorities in Pakistan.

Addressing a press conference in Karachi Press Club on Wednesday Jaipal demanded of PPP leadership that party tickets should be given to genuine people. He said: “If one ticket is given to a Hindu candidate then second should be given to a Christian candidate.”

He said a candidate who has already served as member of national or provisional assembly should not be given ticket again and only one ticket should given in a family. He said writers and poets should also be considered for party ticket as technocrats.

He said: “If the party does not give tickets in just manner then people like me will sit in their homes due to disappointment.”
