NAUNDERO: After winning polls, PPP leader Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, his nephew Awais Qadir Shah and former Sukkur district Nazim Nasir Shah arrived in Garhi Khuda Bux on Saturday evening from Sukkur in a long caravan of vehicles holding party flags.

The election winning leaders of the PPP offered prayers and laid floral wreaths at the graves of Bhutto leaders and distributed Lungar free food among the poor people. Khursheed Shah won recent general elections from NA199, Awais Shah from PS4 and Nasir Shah from PS2.

Talking to Reporters, Khursheed Shah claimed that mandate of the PPP has been stolen and conspiracy was hatched to finish the party but it miserably failed. He further said that PPP would remain alive until Jialas are in the active. He said that politics starts from Bhutto mausoleum as they have rendered sacrifices of their lives for the cause of democracy.

“PPP fought against dictatorships and won elections because it believes in democracy. We won elections in Sindh and lost in Punjab and KPK, hence, PPP leadership should also think why party suffered such setback in Punjab and KPK,” Khursheed Shah said.

The PPP leader said that he was praying for Mian Nawaz Sharif to resolve the current prevailing issues of load shedding etc which was created during his own previous regime. He said that we are politicians and believe in the mandate of the people and added we have come out with flying colours in Sindh.

He said: “People of Tharparkar have voted for PPP which showed that it has not lost the ground and is still a force.” He also offered Fateha at the graves of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto, Murtaza Bhutto and Shahnawaz Bhutto. Later, he left for Sukkur.”
