PTI is thankful to provide support as a coalition partner in government, CM

Peshawar: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has said that the present provincial government is working on a program to provide the same facilities and opportunities of education to the children of poor people which are available to the children of rich and wealthy segment of society adding that it is the mission of the provincial government to provide health and education facilities and other basic amenities of life to the people at their door step.

This he said while addressing the participants of a dinner hosted by him in the honour of Munawar Hassan, Amir Jamaat-e-Islami last night in Peshawar. The dinner was attended by Senior Provincial Minister Sirajul Haq, Central and Provincial leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami, Liaqat Baloch, Professor Ibrahim, Shabir Ahmed Jan, Abdul Waheed Qureshi, members of the provincial cabinet, special assistants and adviser of the chief minister and others attended the dinner.

The chief minister said that he was committed to eliminate corruption and issues of government resources; and will do it at all costs. I am thankful to Jamaat-e-Islami for the cooperation it has attended to the provincial government as coalition party; and because of this cooperation the provincial government, since its inception three months back, is progressing successfully and things are working smoothly; said Khattak.

He said that with the cooperation, understanding and coordination of the coalition parties, the provincial government would defiantly be able to bring about real and positive changes in the province.

The previous provincial governments have promoted and nourished only corruption, lawlessness, mismanagement and poor governance but we will set an example of good governance and corruption free system; and thus gain the trust of investors as well as the tax payers; continued the chief minister.
