PTI-led govt committed to take solid measures for solution of water issues: Vawda

Minister for Water Resources Muhammad Faisal Vawda has said that the PTI-led government is committed to take solid measures for solution of water issues.

Talking to newsmen in Lahore on Tuesday, he said the government is working on water footing for early execution of water projects in the country.

He said the PTI government wants to complete Dasu Dam in Kohistan district within four and a half year. He said all the issues related with the project have been resolved and preparations are underway to generate electricity from the Dasu Hydel power project.

Faisal Vawda expressed regret over the shutting down of telemeters on water resouces across the country by the previous government.
