PTI: ST: JD hold demo to support Kashmiris

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI): Sunni Tehreek (ST) and Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JD) held demonstrations separately outside Karachi Press Club on Wednesday to observe Kashmir Day.

A large number of people: including women and children: participated in the demonstrations. They chanted slogan in favour of freedom of occupied Kashmir and against brutalities of Indian army on Kashmiri people.

Addressing participants: leaders of these parties highlighted importance of Kashmir for Pakistan and urged the government to intensify its diplomatic efforts at international level for freedom of Kashmir. They also appealed to international community to play its due role for attaining right of self determination for people of occupied Kashmir.

The leaders criticized the government policy about India and said that before giving status of most favoured nation (MFN) to the neighbouring country: it must force India to resolve the Kashmir issue as per resolution of the United Nations.

Resolutions were also passed on this occasion in which the participants pledged that they would not compromise on Kashmir issue and would not hesitate for giving any kind of sacrifice for freedom of occupied valley.
