Rainwater enters park in Naudero

Naudero, Sindh: A local park like other low-lying areas went inundated after heavy rains lashed Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Park in Garhi Khuda Bux, developed at the cost of Rs500million was also flooded. Children were seen playing inside the park in the stagnant rainwater.

Meanwhile, a 6year old boy Sadiq son of Talib Jat died of electrocution at village Phulpota.

Due to heavy monsoon rain many people lost their houses. In village Naushehro, near Kanga of Areeja Pheru police station the houses of Ihsan Shahani, Saifal Shahani, Haji, Sarwar Mangi and Shafiq Shahani were caved in.

Due to continuous load shedding, the rainwater is accumulating in paddy crop fields as drainage tubewells were inoperative due to electricity failure. Villagers of Chooharpur told PPI that the Hesco officials were demanding gratification from them to restore power which is off for last 36 hours. The villagers added that due to accumulation of rainwater in the agricultural fields they fear a total loss of their paddy crop.
