Rally staged to celebrate end of PPP govt tenure

NAUNDERO: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz PMLN activists took out a rally and staged a sit-in here on Saturday against the Pakistan People’s Party PPP over end of its five-year tenure.

The rally led by PMLN leader Javed Bhutto and Habibullah Mahesar marched from Municipality areas to local press club, where the participants staged a sit-in against the government for what they called harming people of Sind during its tenure.

Speaking on the occasion, Javed Bhutto said that the PPP government had divided Sind on the basis of Sind Local Government Act besides letting people of the province to face unemployment, price hike and other problems.

He said that PMLN chief Nawaz Sharif would provide relief to the people if he comes to power.
