LAHORE: Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) has expressed great concern at the abduction of Haider Ali, a human rights activist and advocate, who was abducted allegedly by law enforcement agencies on November 27, 2013 while going back home from District Courts.

In a statement on Monday, HRCP said two HRCP activists in Balochistan had earlier been killed by unidentified assailants. Their killers have not been apprehended yet. It said HRCP has written to the Balochistan authorities for Haider Ali’s immediate recovery and they have also been asked to make sure that he was not physically harmed in custody.
