Rs. 5billion subsidy approved for Sasta Ramadan Bazaars in Punjab, says minister

SIALKOT: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has approved a special subsidy of Rs. 5 billion for public in a bid to ensure the maximum financial relief to the masses by ensuring the provision of good quality and standard daily use commodities in the Sasta Ramzan Bazaars established across the Punjab.

Provincial Minister for Women Development Hameeda Waheed Ud Din stated this while presiding over a high level meeting held at the DCO Office Sialkot here to review the Ramzan Bazaars arrangements in Sialkot district. Commissioner Gujranwala Division Tariq Najeeb Najmi, DCO Sialkot Lt Rtd Iftikhar Ali Sahu and several MPAs from Sialkot district also attended the meeting.

The Provincial Minister added that the provincial government was increasing the number of the Sasta Ramzan Bazaars across the province for facilitating the maximum number of the people during the holy month of Ramzan.

Earlier, she also visited the several Ramzan Bazaars in Sialkot and Daska tehsils and inspected the quality, standard and prices of the daily use commodities being sold there on subsidized rates for providing maximum financial relief to the common people.
