SC adjourns missing people’s case hearing till Thursday

Islamabad: The Supreme Court (SC) has adjourned the hearing of missing persons case till Thursday. A three-member bench heard the case in Islamabad under the supervision of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. During the proceedings on Tuesday the attorney general informed the apex court about the progress made so far to trace out the missing persons. Earlier during the hearing, the defence ministry’s additional secretary informed the court about the whereabouts of three more missing persons. Later talking to the media persons‚ Minister for Defense Khawaja Asif said three more missing persons have been located. He said the government is giving top priority to the issue and the prime minister is personally monitoring the situation. He said that we will live up to the expectations of the apex court.
