Senior Management Course meets Governor

QUETA: Improvement of law and order situation depends on new elected government policy. Law enforcement agencies were doing their best to main law and order. If anyone has complaint of rigging in polls he can approach Election Commission.

This was stated by Balochistan Governor Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi while answering questions asked by participation of Senior Management Course who called on him here Thursday.

Answering a question about Gwadar Port, Governor Magsi said in the absence of road and rail network this port could not be operationalised. He however hoped that handing over this port to China under an agreement and benefits would be obtained. He said planning has been made for development of Gwadar and work was underway in this regard.

Referring to exploitation of mineral resources in the province he said Almighty Allah has blessed this province with various minerals. But these can be benefitted when situation is conducive.
He appreciated Pak-Iran gas pipeline and said that this agreement must be implemented so that energy crisis in the country could be met.
