QUETTA: President PMLN Punjab and former provincial Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif have said that three parties PMLN, PMAP and National Party would form government in Balochistan and nominate Chief Minister after consultation.
He was speaking to newsmen after his meeting with Chairman Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami party Mahmood Khan Achakzai at his residence here Sunday.
President PMLN Balochistan Sardar Sanaullah Zehri, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Pervez Rasheed, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Changez Marri, Dr Hamid Achakzai and others were also present.
He said during his visit he congratulated PMAP and National Party on their success in elections. He also condoled death of brother, son and nephew of Sardar Zehri.
He said PMAP, National Party and PMLN are allies and would form government in Balochistan. These parties would hold consultation and decide name of new Chief Minister.
He said there is difference among allies on joining JUI in the government. If they agreed then JUI would also be included.
He said situation in Balochistan particularly Quetta is very bad. Lawlessness is at top and roads almost nonexistent.
People have mandated three parties. They eliminated parties included in the previous government to revenge from lawlessness, poverty and price hike. They voted parties which are their well wishers. PMLN along with its allies would face challenges.
He said Mahmood Achakzai rendered sacrifices for democracy and always opposed dictatorship. He said there is personal relation between Khan Sahib and Mian Sahib. Our party would do its best to put Balochistan on road to progress.
