Shutterdown strike against load shedding

Talhar, Sindh: A complete shutterdown strike was observed at Rajo Khanani town near here on Wednesday against prolonged load shedding of electricity.

Citizens took to streets and blocked roads by burning tires. They said 20 hours a day unannounced load shedding has badly affected local trade and social life. They said the daily wagers were facing starvation like situation due to closure of electricity as all machines run on power go to standstill during load shedding hours.

They said the corrupt rulers were least concerned to get the people rid of electricity load shedding. They said they would go on hunger strike eight hours a day in front of Hesco office Talhar till the end of load shedding.
