KARACHI: Sindh National Party SNP Chairman Ameer Bhambhro has opposed the May 22 strike call given by the 10party alliance in Sindh and said that the alliance is taking revenge of its defeat from the people of the province.

Addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club, the SNP chief said that the alliance should contact the Election Commission of Pakistan and the Supreme Court of Pakistan for resolving poll rigging complaints.

He alleged that Pakistan Muslim League leader Nawaz Sharif, who raised the slogan of ‘Jaag Punjabi Jaag’, was behind calls for strike in the province, adding that people of the province would not tolerate anyone who supports Kalabagh Dam.

Bhambhro felicitated Pakistan People’s Party PPP for getting a heavy mandate in the province and urged them to comply with its manifesto and provide relief to the people.

SNP Vice Chairman Ramzan Buledi, spokesman Ali Murad Dahri, General Secretary Dr Dawood and Saeen Bux Banglani were also present on the occasion.
