SSUET organizes Jalsa-e-Seerat-un-NabiFebruary 3, 2014
KARACHI: Chancellor Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET), Engr Muhammad Adil Usman, said on Monday that the Seerat of the Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) and the Quran are essentially synonymous.
Quran is the mirror in which the full-fledged life picture of the prophet can be seen. We shall be following the Holy Prophet, if sincerely following the Quran in its totality.
He was speaking at Jalsa-e-Seerat-un-Nabi organized by Literary Art and Culture Forum. Chancellor Muhammad Adil Usman said the quality of prophets to change impossibility to possibility and the miracle of Hazrat Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was that he brought out men from darkness into light by shedding their ignorance. He established the first welfare Islamic state in Madina based on justice and gave a new turn to the human history.
Adil remarked that the success depends upon remembering Allah and following the preaching of Hazrat Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
Allama Dr Noor Ahmed Shahtaaz, Director ShaikhZaid Islamic Centre, delivered an enlightening speech on the life and message of Holy Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
“It is by nature that every man wants freedom. Prophets were not against human freedom, but they set certain boundaries of freedom,” Shah Taaz added.
Famous Naat Khwans Ahmood-ul-Hasan Ashrafi, Muhammad Haris Kamal, Haris Ahmed and Osama Farooqui enthralled the audience with soul-stirring naats.
Earlier the students Shah Zaib Rehmani and Tayyaba Fasih in their speeches in English and Urdu highlighted the Seeratof Muhammad.
