Sibi, Balochistan: Pakistan Railways is finalizing arrangement to revive Chiltan Express to facilitate passengers of Balochistan province. Chiltan Express used to run between Quetta and Lahore via Dera Ghazi Khan and it was stopped after miscreants torched rails and damaged railway infrastructures following the assassination of Pakistan Peoples Party PPP leader Benazir Bhutto.

Reliable sources said that the Pakistan Railways would restart this popular train from September 15.

Local traders and citizens have welcomed the decision and also demanded of the minister for railways to restart the closed trains of Night Coach, Abaseen Express and Mehran Express to facilitate citizens and trade circles. They also demanded to reopen closed Sibi Harnai section of Pakistan Railways on priority basis.
