Steps would be taken to solve Regi Lalma dispute, Inayatullah

Peshawar: A meeting of the committee constituted by the provincial government for redressing the Regi Lalma dispute was held on Tuesday in the office of the Commissioner Peshawar with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Local Government and Committee Chairman Inayatullah Khan in the chair.

MNA from Khyber Agency Shah Jee Gul, Senator Nasir Khan, MPA Amjad Afridi, Commissioner Peshawar Sahibzada Anees, Deputy Commissioner Zaheerul Islam, Political Agent Khyber Agency Muttahir Zeb, Assistant Commissioner Tauseef and other attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed in detail various aspects of the dispute and presented some useful suggestions for its solution. The Provincial Minister and Committee Chairman Inayatullah said that they were well wishers of the people of Peshawar and would take steps with strategy for Regi Lalma dispute that would benefit traders, government officials and others.

He said the amicable solution of Regi Lalma dispute would lessen the population load in Hayatabad and Peshawar on one hand and would solve the accommodation problem of the people to a great extent on the other hand. The next meeting of the committee will be held on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 04:00 PM.
