Student demanded President Asif Ali Zardari to give party ticket to Sartaj Khan

Peshawar: Rejecting the provincial Minister for population Saleem Khan in upcoming general election, student of various educational institutions belong to district Chitral demanded President Asif Ali Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa president Anwaar Saifullah to give party ticket to Sartaj Khan, a former Tehsil Nazim Chitral in upcoming general election of PK89 constituency.

Addressing a news conference on Thursday at press club, Iqbal Murtaza, executive member of Peoples’ Youth Organization PYO Chitral alleged that the concerned provincial minister had ignored Peoples Students Federation PSF, PYO and Chitrali peoples during his ministry.

He added that as district Chitral president of PPP, Saleem Khan had yet arranged any meeting of district cabinet, therefore he demanded of Anwar Saifullah to dissolve the district cabinet and form a new cabinet.

Flanked by Riaz Kamil, president of PSF Government College of Technology Peshawar, Muhammad Ayub and others, he maintained that due to lack of interest of the said minister the Lowari tunnel project had not complete in the present government tenure.

The minister, he lamented had no right to represent Chitral in forthcoming election.

He said Sartaj Khan was an active person and rendered his services for the welfare of people and always raised voice for achieving their rights in the district.
