Sukhan police nab four bandits in encounter

KARACHI: Sukhan police on Thursday claimed to have arrested four bandits and recovered arms and snatched valuables from their possession.

Station House Officer SHO Sukhan, Amanullah Marwat along with police party during a patrolling in Bhains Colony Road, where four bandits were busy in looting the pedestrians. The SHO challenged the dacoits over which bandits opened firing on them which was also retaliated by police.

The police arrested four bandits, Rasheed Khan, Muhammad Khan, Muhammad Farooq and Rahim Shah after brief encounter. The place also recovered two pistols, two magazines, six cartridges, a snatched bike and looted cash from their possession.

The bandits during initial investigation confessed their involvement in dozens of robberies in passenger vehicles at National Highway, looted pedestrians in Rehari Road and cattle dealer in Bhains Colony area.

Further investigation is under way.
