Islamabad: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 37% Pakistanis consider themselves ‘extremely happy’.

However, 2% did not give a response.
A comparison between rural and urban localities shows that more rural respondents (41%) consider themselves extremely happy compared with urban respondents (30%), while more urban respondents (53%) see themselves as moderately happy compared with rural respondents (41%).

The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2650 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during May 20, 2013 – May 27, 2013. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
