KARACHI: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC-II) on Saturday remanded judicial custody to a target killer suspect in murder case.
Islamul Haq alias Fauji was produced before ATC-II judge amid security, after being detained by the Rangers for 90 days. The prosecution had charged Isalmul Haq with killing Abdul Manan within the remits of Sarjani Town police station on 19th March 2011.
The court granted the judicial remand of a suspect till 13th March 2014 and directed police to produce the suspect on next hearing with progress report.
Suspect was charged with killing Manan and wounding Iqbal on 19th March 2011. The suspect was arrested during a raid conducted by Rangers within the remits of Sarjani Town police station.
A case FIR No, (150/2011) was registered at the Sarjani Town police station under Sections 302 (premeditated murder), and 34 (common intention) of the Pakistan Penal Code read with Section-7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997.
