SWO kidnapped near Naudero

Naudero, Sindh: Social Welfare Officer of Larkana has reportedly been abducted near village Panjudero of Naundero police station limits on Thursday noon. Amir Ali Abro son of Waryal Faqeer Abro was coming back from Sukkur to Larkana after attending official meeting along with his driver Zulfiqar Mashori when he was intercepted by unknown armed men near Panjudero village, located on the outskirts of Naundero. He was travelling in Government vehicle.

His relatives told newsmen that Abro was in contact with them when he reached Lakhi and after about half an hour his cell numbers went not responding due to which they suspect they he must have been kidnapped along with his driver as their official vehicle has not yet been found.

SHO Naundero police Sartaj Jagirani told PPI that the incident has taken place in the limits of Gaheja police station.

Larkana & Shikarpur police are finding the missing officer but have so far failed. DSP Madeji Amin Khoso told PPI that Abro has been taken away from the limits of Larkana district police and not Shikarpur. Assistant Commissioner (General) Commissioner Larkana office told PPI that the matter has been brought to the notice of the Commissioner Saeed Mangnejo who has directed both SSPs of Larkana & Shikarpur to recover the missing officer forthwith.

It may be mentioned here that about one month back a journalist of Dakhan village Asghar Thahim was also kidnapped along with his driver Tariq Soomro and both of them are still missing.
