Systematic functioning of CCTV surveillance cameras ordered

KARACHI: Chief Secretary Sindh Muhammad Ejaz Chaudhry has emphasized upon the Commissioner Karachi & Administrator KMC to jointly ensure the systematic functioning of the surveillance cameras installed in the city, in collaboration with Home Department and Sindh Police.

With reference to recent meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary Sindh, Ejaz Chaudhry noted that smooth functioning of

the CCTV network needs adequate and sufficient command and control system. He maintained that regular and strict monitoring is much essential for maintaining law and order & system to the entire satisfaction of government and the masses.

He also called a report about maintenance and repair of the CCTV cameras within 02 day. Moreover, the Chief Secretary also sought a comprehensive report regarding status of Zulfiqarabad Oil Terminal (ZOT), with the specific references of Physical Progress, Road, Water Supply & Electric System, Building Works, Financial Progress, Parking area allocation, Toilet

Blocks, Retiring Sheds, overhead Water Tank, Mosque, Boundary Wall, underground tanks, additional facilities, and reason for delay in the project’s accomplishment.
