Talks enter at crucial stage: Irfan Siddiqui

Islamabad: Advisor to Prime Minister on National Affairs‚ Irfan Siddiqui has said that the Taliban committee will give a report about its talks with the Taliban Shura after its return from North Waziristan.

In a statement he said the talks have entered at crucial stage and after the report from the Taliban committee‚ decision would be taken as to how to move forward the dialogue process.

Irfan Siddiqui said the government will see whether the Taliban would hold direct talks.

Meanwhile‚ Federal Minister Abbas Afridi has expressed the hope that initiating talks with Taliban would help resolve the issue of law and order being faced by the country.

He said that PML-N government was moving in the right direction regarding dialogue process with Taliban.
