Three electrocuted in cityAugust 3, 2013
KARACHI: At least three people, including two children, were electrocuted in separate incidents in the city on Saturday.
A five year old child, Abdul Rehman, son of Riaz, was electrocuted outside his home in Paposh Nagar, Nazimabad, within the remit of Paposh Nagar police station. The body was moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital ASH for medicolegal formalities.
Similarly, A 14yearold boy, whose identity could not be ascertained yet, was electrocuted in Korangi No. 21/2, within the jurisdiction of Korangi police station. The body was moved to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center JPMC for an autopsy.
Separately, a man, aged around 40, was electrocuted near KESC Office in Defence Housing Authority DHA, Phase-I, within the precincts of Defence police station. The body was brought to JPMC for a postmortem.
