Trade Palestine Envoy for more trade relations with Pak

Islamabad: Pakistan and Palestine need to focus on developing bilateral trade cooperation to create better economic opportunities for their people. This was observed by Mr. Walid A.M. Abu Ali, Ambassador of Palestine while addressing the business community at Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

He said that Pakistan and Palestine have recently agreed to constitute a joint commission comprising of Foreign Ministers of the two countries to expand the existing political cooperation into other areas including economy, agriculture, banking, education and social and cultural sectors and hoped that this commission would play a positive role in developing bilateral trade relations between the two countries as well.

Mr. Walid A.M.Abu Ali expressed thanks to the government and people of Pakistan for always providing unflinching support to the just cause of people of Palestine for their right to self determination.

He also thanked the whole Muslim Ummah for supporting the principled stand of Palestine for independence at all relevant forums. He was especially grateful to the President of Pakistan for offering a grant of one million dollars for construction of Palestine Embassy in Islamabad which showed the great interest of Pakistan.
