Tribal activist of Khyber Agency join PTI

Peshawar: A member of tribal organisation in Khyber Agency, Mian Gul announced to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf here on Wednesday.

The announcement was made during a press conference here at press club. On the occasion, the PTI president from Khyber Agency, Mohammad Iqbal Afridi, tribal activists and workers present.

While speaking on the occasion, Mian Gul, an activist of Tribal Khyber Union said that the government had failed to restore sustainable peace and stability in Khyber Agency and rest of tribal region. He said a large number of innocent people had been killed during the ongoing security forces operations.

“Tribesmen are being confronted with difficulties due to wrong policies of former rulers”, he said. He added that a large number of tribal people were forced to leave their hometown, but the government was making efforts to mitigate their suffering.

He viewed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf is the only political party, which was raised for right of tribal people and openly opposed the US secrete drones campaign and security forces operation in Fata and held a long march against it.

PTI Khyber Agency president, Iqbal Afridi expressed voice concern over killing of innocent people in the ongoing military operations, demanding to immediate stop the security forces action in the agency.

While welcoming the joining of an activist of Tribal Khyber Union, he said PTI is only political force to steer the country out from the present crisis situation. He urged the masses to reject the looters and corrupt faces in the coming election and support only those candidates which can really bring change and resolve their issues on the priority basis.
